Tommy Smith (rugby union)

Tommy Smith is a rugby union player who represented the United States in the 15- and 7-player rugby codes before becoming the coach of the US sevens team in 1999.[1] Smith won the Leslie Williams Award for skill and spirit at the 1986 sevens tournament in Hong Kong, joining past recipients Jonah Lomu, Waisale Serevi and Mark Ella.[2] [3] In 2011 he was the coach of the sevens team at the Santa Monica Rugby Club.[4]
